BULLETPROOF SEO IS A 3 STEP PROCESS

We Invest In Three Key Areas To Grow Your Traffic

While good SEO is a complex process, the basics can easily be broken down into three key components: Plan & Research, On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO.  We make sure each of these steps are carried out to their full potential every time we audit, develop and maintain a client’s SEO.

Plan & Research

Before any web development is done, we spend time researching, refining and implementing relevant keywords, meta tags, alt tags, and competitor backlinks to improve ranking with search engines. As search trends are always changing, we perform keyword updates and maintenance regularly to make sure your web content is always relevant.

On-Page SEO

On-page SEO is the process of optimising your website content, making sure it is favoured by the search algorithm. We ensure your site loads quickly, and includes elements that search engines prioritise such as TTFB, header tags, URL hierarchy, proper sitemap, robot txt files and more.

Off-Page SEO

During this phase, we build as much authority with the search algorithm as possible. A large component of this is link building – implementing backlinks into your site and linking content with reputable third parties. This shows the search engine that your site has authority and your content will be prioritized in search results.

Search Engine Optimisation FAQ’s

What does On-Page Search Engine Optimisation consist of?

On-page SEO is the practice of optimising individual web pages in order to rank higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines. On-page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be optimised, as opposed to off-page SEO which refers to links and other external signals. The below areas can be covered under On-page SEO:

  • Keyword Research and proper URL mapping
  • Proper Meta Data check-up and implementation
  • Header Tag, Title Tag fixing
  • Keyword Optimisation in content using semantics
  • Proper Anchor Tags optimisation and internal linking
  • Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Robots.txt, and Critical On-page check-up and implementation

What is Technical Search Engine Optimisation?

Technical SEO refers to the process of optimising your website for the crawling and indexing phase. With technical SEO, you can help search engines access, crawl, interpret and index your website without any problems. It is called “technical” because it has nothing to do with the actual content of the website or with website promotion. The main goal of technical SEO is to optimise the infrastructure of a website.

  • Proper URL Status Code Optimisation, Broken Link Fixing and Redirection
  • JavaScript, CSS, HTML Minification, Compression and Caching
  • Image Optimisation and Scaling
  • Alt Tag Optimisation
  • SEMRush, GTMetrix, Google PSI, TTFB plus Check-up and Fixes

What do you do for Off-Page Search Engine Optimisation?

Off-page SEO simply tells Google what others think about your site. “Off-Page SEO” refers to all of the activities that you and others do away from your website to raise the ranking of a page with search engines. Though many people associate off-page SEO with link building, it goes beyond that. Many activities that don’t result in a standard link on other sites are important for off-page optimisation. The below areas will be covered under Off-page SEO:

Link Submissions on High Domain Authority sites which includes:

  • Bookmarking. High domain authority submission
  • Image Submission. Image submissions on high authority sites
  • PPT Submission. PPT submission on high authority sites
  • PDF Submission. PDF submission on high authority sites
  • Citations (with proper NAPL). Business listings on high domain and page authority sites
  • Profile Creation. Social media profiles and other large websites where you can make a profile

How long does it take to rank a website?

Ranking your website depends on many variables. These variables consist of how competitive your industry is, what keywords you are trying to rank for and then how aggressively you go after it. We start with easier less competitive keywords and long-tail keywords to start getting your website ranked on Google’s first page. Once we have achieved this for a variety of keywords we start to target more competitive keywords and build up from there. Generally speaking, it takes 3-6 months to be ranked for a specific long-tail or short-tail keyword.

What is Link Building?

Link building is the process of acquiring hyperlinks from other websites to your own. A hyperlink (usually just called a link) is a way for users to navigate between pages on the internet. Search engines use links to crawl the web; they will crawl the links between the individual pages on your website, and they will crawl the links between entire websites.
